So what's this EKP thing all about?
The EskimoKissProject grew out of our obsession for DeRo (a.k.a. Deniz and Roman) and the need for two non-German speakers to know every single thing it involved. We decided to focus on the entire story, including the surrounding characters that made their story come alive. We started sharing these clips on YouTube, and voila! Here we are!
And now you need a website for it?
While YouTube is a great source for the clips, some people have expressed a wish for better quality downloads of the episodes. We also know that, because of copyright restrictions, some online videos aren't available in all countries.
We're also taking this opportunity to share other AWZ fan creations like fanfiction and fanvideos and become a resource for English-speaking fans.
What episodes are available?
We currently have the following playlists:
- The Story of Deniz and Roman: The reason why EKP came into existence, this playlist focuses on Deniz and Roman, but also includes surrounding plots to flesh out their backgrounds and relationships with their friends. (So this isn't just juicy bits, sorry. We believe those should be hard-earned.) Ep. 230 to 466
- The Dark Years: Bridging the gap between the "Deniz & Roman" and "These Days on AWZ" playlists, this will eventually cover episodes 467-656. WORK IN PROGRESS.
- These Days on AWZ: More current episodes that track our favourite characters' continued adventures both on and off the ice. Includes the resurgent angsty tempestuous drama of Deniz & Roman with lots of Woobie Song Montages (TM).Ep 657 +
- AWZ Extras: Behind the scenes, interviews with the cast, and other tidbits.
- EKP Fanvids: Fanvids made by Shelly and Lilith (and Aldi, once she learns how!).
Will you translate/sub this scene/episode/storyline for me?
Short answer? No. The long answer is we simply do not have the time to take on requests for additional episodes or storylines. We have a lot planned already and chances are your request is something that we'll eventually get to as we continue.
How often are new episodes posted?
We post as time permits, usually at least one a day (excepting weekends when we sleep) but sometimes more. For the most immediate access, subscribe to our YouTube channel and you'll be notified when we upload a new episode.
Who are the ravishing ladies behind EKP?
The Trio Infernale is Aldi, who not only translates the episodes but also decides what needs to stay and what can go. She's the one to thank for connecting random scenes that somehow make sense. Lilith and Shelly are the technical wizards who edit the videos, subtitle them, and battle YouTube so you can enjoy them. All three suffer from too little sleep, an unholy worship of Wigboy, and abuse of CAPSLOCK.
