Episode Summary sm lg

This is not the episode you're looking for.

Well, unless you're looking for wacky wedding stalking shenanigans, Freckles sacrificing her last shred of dignity on the altar of Twue Wuv, everyone looking insanely beautiful, Christina Stürmer being more adorable than she has any right to be, the boys exchanging One Fraught Look OMG, and Christof Brehmer directing the hell out of this amusing cheesefest. Then you're in the right place.

To celebrate this landmark (and okay, it's not Killer Virus or our hoped-for attack of Essen's underground zombie army, but LOOK, PRETTY!), the lovely Avidbel2 has let us offer his recipe for the MILLENIUMTINI for you to enjoy with your overdose of soapy entertainment:

Ingredients:
Three parts Vodka
One Part White Rum
One Part Gin
Two parts Extra Dry Vermouth
Angostura Bitters
Canada Dry Ginger Ale.
Crushed Ice
Cocktail shaker
Tall Glass & Drinking Straws.
Glace Cherries,

Method
Place crushed ice to fill one third of the cocktail shaker.
Add Vodka, White Rum and Gin and the Vermouth.
Cover with lid and shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into Tall Glass....
Fill a tall glass with crushed ice and add no more than
5 drops of the Angostura Bitters into the glass.
Pour HALF the shaken alcohol into the glass and add the Canada Dry
Ginger Ale to top up and decorate with cherries on sticks.
Use the other half for another....Hic

We do believe in fairies! We do! We do! We believe in the sassy, curvaceous pair of fairy godmothers in their smokin' hot dresses, meddling juuust enough to be helpful, not enough to annoy. We believe in black-clad pop star fairies with smoky voices, singing of June hearts and urging you to seize the moment. We believe in the silver ice princess fairy, who makes a bold stand to grab an unsuspecting guest (Tom, you've no idea how lucky you are) and then flees the merriment before it gets too much. We believe in the evil fairy with her raucous bellow trapped in the mirror, and still hold out hope that someday she'll escape. We believe in that special pair of fairies on the dance floor, just a handful of glittery magic dust away from actually floating.

We also believe in the fairies behind the scenes, the ones who work their magic unseen. The ones who fiddle with costumes and curse at sound, brandish powder puffs and make-up dispensers, pour over logistics, make coffee, communicate in garbled film speech made up of angles and light and contrast, sweat as they carry equipment, shepherd flocks of extras, manage the evils of the press, give cues, mysteriously pop up wherever they're needed. We believe in the fairy alliance of actors, directors and writers, who we imagine wield wands to make it all come together.

What we don't believe in are happy ever afters, but that's okay. For a sunny late-summer afternoon, even we can sit back and sigh and smile in perfectly content bliss.

(Especially if we've set up a heist to steal that car as soon as it's out of sight.)

Christina Stürmer's song "Juniherz" will be available on her new album "Nahaufnahme," which comes out on 24 September. You can find an impromptu translation of the lyrics here.

Cut from the episode for... not even sure why. Time? Continuity? Extreme hotness? Whatever the reason, here's a little glimpse of the GBWI in the Very Important Process of Reclaiming Bed.

The song is "No One Else" by Amel Larrieux.

In which the reason why Deniz always wears socks is revealed, boxes are packed, fugly t-shirts are fought over, wise advice is bestowed by curvaceous fairy godmothers and their epic cleavage, a full circle is reached, and an innocent cushion suffers much torture at the hands of an aggravated Florian Wild.

Three roses for the Eskimos today. The first rose is for you, for taking this journey with us, through all its ups and downs--for stocking up on vodka and tissues when things got rough, and breaking out the prosecco and confetti for our two days of bliss.

The second rose is for this fandom, that has sparked so much creativity, spawned so much crack, forged friendships and virtual marriages, and brought so much joy to us and others. (And if you don't know what we're talking about, check out http://asylums.insanejournal.com/no7_...

The third rose is for this incredible story that we fell head over heels in love with the moment a cocky teen showed up in Essen and knocked everybody's socks off (except his own, of course). That love's still as strong today, when we see these two men face the fact that love's not perfect or easy, but might still be worth it.

PS: The song in the last scene is "Back Here" by Yuri Kane.
